The 21st season of the Championship gathered more than 2500 participants, 107 of whom reached the finals. The visual style of the season was inspired by digital and technology to bring warm nostalgia.

For the first time, DEV Challenge, we launched the macOS nomination in partnership with MacPaw. It is a special one, because unlike iOS, it is rarely seen at any IT competitions or hackathons.
There were also 5 traditional nominations: Backend, Frontend, Testing, Product design, UI design.
In the Frontend nomination, the participants worked on a web application to visualize various types of data with the ability to upload databases, select the type of visualization, and configure the main visualization parameters through an intuitive interface.
The participants in the Backend nomination developed an AI-based tool for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that automatically processes hotline calls, extracts information from them, and creates a database of questions asked by customers.
In the Product Design nomination, participants developed a concept for a mobile application for the Come Back Alive charity foundation that would help raise funds, report on the foundation's activities, and engage people in joint meetings.
In the Product Design nomination, the finalists developed a concept for a mobile application for the Ministry of Social Services so that users could access information about social services anytime and anywhere.
Participants in the UI Design nomination updated the NAU website to reflect the transformation of the educational institution into the first defense technical university in Ukraine, which trains personnel for the defense sector and conducts innovative research.
The finalists in the UI Desig nomination worked on updating the DonorUA for Teams account to reflect how any business can support donor initiatives while remaining an organic part of the donor community.
